One of our favorite events of the season is fast approaching. The 7th annual Sugarloaf Banked Slalom will be held on March 11 & 12. This is a snowboard only event and typically brings 225 snowboarders together with the same goals in mind. Have a blast hanging out and ride as fast as possible.
One of the great things about the Sugarloaf Banked Slalom is that all levels of riders participate in the event every year ranging in age from 5-65. The course changes every year but is always amazing. Maine's own Olympian Seth Wescott is one of the course designers and always wants it fast.
There are very few events at Maine ski resorts that will bring out this kind of turn out. The Sugarloaf Banked Slalom is a great way to connect with snowboarders from all around New England and Canada. Get together a group of buddies and put a plan together. We hope to see you all on March 11 & 12.
